Thanks so much for being a part of Keylab this past year! We had a fantastic time working with all of our students and nurturing their growth over the school year, and some great music was made!
The June madness has subsided and we have finally posted our end-of-year projects from the 2022-23 school year!
Please read on after the video links to learn how to save 10% on enrolling in lessons or Songlab for the 2023-24 school year, and to learn about some of the systems improvements we're introducing that will make communicating with the studio and keeping track of scheduling, payments and managing your account much easier! END OF YEAR AUDIO & VIDEOS We hope you can make time to watch your child's videos and listen to their music with them so you can share the joy of their experience at Keylab together! (Click here for our youtube page where you can see all video playlists at once) VIRTUAL RECITAL VIDEOS See some awesome performances and music production project videos from 50+ participating private lesson students here. SONGLAB FINAL PERFORMANCE VIDEOS Watch each band in the 2022-23 Songlab program playing original and cover songs in their final performance of the year SONGLAB "MEET THE COMPOSER" VIDEOS These are really fun to watch, especially with your children! Learn about each Songlab student, and hear a sample of their music created in our Tech Lab FINAL SONGLAB AUDIO PROJECTS FROM THE TECH LAB Listen to the wildly original final audio projects from our Songlab crew that use sampling, live instrument & vocal recording, and some very creative audio editing!
SOUNDTRAP ACCOUNT STATUS As a courtesy so that your children can continue composing and recording over the summer, all 2022-23 Songlab student Soundtrap accounts will remain active until Labor Day
Reminder: If kids want to, they can stay in touch with their bandmates by inviting them to collaborate on music within Soundtrap!
Any children who are not enrolled in the 2023-24 Songlab program by Labor Day (Monday, September 4th) will lose access to their account and all music stored on the account will be permanently deleted, so please make sure to download any music your child may want to save before that date if they are not continuing for the 2023-24 school year.
FALL ENROLLMENT IS OPEN!

Although we don't have all of our teacher's schedules set for the fall, we're taking lesson requests now and will be able to start placing students with teachers for the 2023-24 school year very soon.
Songlab enrollment is currently open, and you can pre-register using the link below
Please note that we have had to raise prices slightly due to a major rent increase and generally increasing operating costs.
However, we are offering a 10% discount on enrollments for all families enrolling in private lessons or Songlab by August 15th
Returning Keylab families will have this discount extended through September 15th.
After September 15th new pricing will be in effect for all enrollments
SONGLAB INFO & PRE-REGISTRATION - Songlab begins the first week in October
PRIVATE LESSON INFO & PRE-REGISTRATION - School year lessons begin on Monday Sept. 11th (if you want to start earlier, please let us know in the comment section on your form)
ADULT COURSES
Adult courses are relaxed, fun, and informative classes designed to cater to most learning styles. There is zero-pressure to perform, and most of the time only you will be able to hear yourself play along with the instructor.
NEW & IMPROVED BOOKING SYSTEMS!
We are working hard on setting up our new and improved booking systems and think that you will be pleased with some of the new functionality, including:
Self-booking for adult lessons
Streamlined enrollment for Songlab and Private Lessons
Self-cancelling for all lessons and classes
Kids video make-up lessons - no more rescheduling lessons! If you have to miss a lesson for any reason, we'll have your teacher send a make-up video with instructions and any documents necessary to keep students on track week over week
Improved communication with text messaging so you can contact the studio or your teacher directly and keep track of conversations within your account
Extended office hours - beginning in September, we will have someone on staff weekdays from 10am-6:30pm, and Saturdays from 10am-4pm to answer phone calls and assist clients
Easier account management - keep track of your upcoming lessons, update your account info and payment method, track payments and lesson credits, and more
The new systems will be live by August 1st, and we'll be posting information on how to manage your account at our FAQ page
