About Keylab Camps

Each week our artist/educators will guide kids of all experience levels in awesome activities like writing and recording music, learning how to play in a band, creating audio art, or making short films. Campers get to explore and create in a relaxed, social environment, and get time outside every day! Our summer camp is appropriate for all skill levels. Although we have a wide range of ages on any given day, we make sure the kids are comfortable and engaged by grouping them according to age, skill level, and interests. For our youngest campers, we have plenty of games and activities to keep them entertained and engaged all day long!

Filmmaking ages 7-12

Budding auteurs will work in teams to learn how to take an idea, create a script, and make it come to life using basic filmmaking, editing, and post-production techniques.

Students will explore stop motion animation, film scoring, lighting & special effects, and more in this whirlwind week of cine-mania!

Open Labs ages 5-12

Kids can explore and create to their hearts' content in this week long open lab experience for all disciplines. Create a song, short film, podcast, or learn how to play piano, drums, bass, or guitar. This is the perfect camp for curious and creative kids of all ages!

The kids are learning how to read music and find notes on the keyboard using Beethoven's classic Fur Elise! It's a challenging piece that requires the use of all 5 fingers in the right hand. Soon we'll be adding the left hand notes as well!
